As the home of the 2016 MLB All Star Game, there may not be a better place in the league to catch a game than spectacular Petco Park in downtown San Diego. The schedule sets up favorably with twelve home games in the opening month, including nine in a row from April 15 through April 24. Take the kids to an afternoon game against the Diamondbacks or bring a date for Taco Tuesday against the Pirates, Petco Park provides the perfect April events for fans of all ages!

The world-famous San Diego Zoo is turning 100 years old and wants you to join in on the celebration! Follow the incredible evolution from the zoo’s origin as a single lion cage in 1915 into one of San Diego’s most popular tourist attractions. Explore like never before with vintage photos and memorabilia, stories from long-time employees, and a number of hands-on activities that will keep the entire family entertained!

Enjoy the music of local bands at any of the four entertainment stages while the little ones participate in a number of free activities at the Kids Zone. And for all the dog-lovers out there, bring your furry friend along for a trip to the dog park!
