San Diego County Fair — Del Mar, June 3rd-July 4th
When looking for June events in San Diego, the Del Mar fair is the place to start. Beginning June 3rd, the San Diego County Fair provides a fun-filled month of entertainment for people of all ages. Located at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, San Diego’s biggest annual event draws in over 1 million visitors every year! The theme for this year’s event is “Mad about the Fair,” featuring attractions and exhibits based on the renowned Lewis Carroll classic, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Bring the kids and join them as they take in the excitement of the pig races, hang out with a wide-variety of animals at the petting zoo, or ride any of the more than forty exhilarating rides that the Fun Zone has to offer.
No kids? No problem! The San Diego County Fair has something for everyone. Stuff yourself with dozens of food options, from all of the various fried foods to chocolate covered bacon and much more. Stop by the Drink Me Bar to try out the new cocktail options or try any of the delicious local craft beers that the Beer Garden has to offer. Tacos and Tequila Festival San Diego – June 11th

2016 USA Surfing Championships – June 9th, 10th, and 12th
With its perfect weather and unbeatable beaches, San Diego has always been synonymous with surfing. It only makes sense then that the city would be home to a one of a kind surfing spectacle with the 2016 USA Surfing Championships in beautiful Oceanside! San Diego International Beer Festival – June 17th – 19th
When it comes to June events in San Diego, this might be my favorite of all. Beer lovers rejoice, the San Diego International Beer Festival has returned to the San Diego County Fair. With last year’s event hosting over 10,000 visitors, California’s biggest beer festival is sure to once again provide endless fun and delicious brews for all in attendance. Join us at the Del Mar Fairgrounds to sample craft beers from nearly 200 breweries! The renowned local scene will be well represented along with a variety of establishments from all around the world. Learn the science behind the beer making process while enjoying unbelievable food pairings in the VIP lounge. The festival is sure to be crowded so come early, stay late, and enjoy an ideal weekend in beautiful San Diego!
